About the course
Delivered by the internationally-renowned Centre for Software Reliability (CSR), this short one day course explains the need for probabilistic measures of software dependability, and introduces the basic principles, capabilities and limitations of current methods for assessing and predicting software reliability.
How you benefit
The increasing role of software in systems design not only means that it is necessary for designers to trust software more than ever before, but also that more people need to know how much they can trust their software. Thus, a sound engineering approach requires techniques for producing more reliable software and also techniques for assessing the effectiveness of the achieved results.
After attending this one day course, participants will:
- Understand the meaning and the value of claims about software reliability
- Know about the practical methods available for predicting software reliability
- Be able to make recommendations and decisions about the use of software reliability
assessment methods and the predictions they make
Cost
£450 for the first delegate
£380 for each additional delegate from the same organisation.
