  • I really enjoyed the IS & T course at City. The course covers a broad spectrum of technology subjects ranging from very technical to more business-centric areas. From this point of view, the course is perfect for anyone looking to start, or further, their career in technology. I really appreciated the way I could focus my learning on a specific area through the modular course design. I also enjoyed the opportunity to research a subject area in great detail via the dissertation. After completing the course I joined the graduate scheme of a large financial institution in the City of London. The course modules that I studied were put to use immediately in my job and have continued to be extremely useful as time has gone on.

  • Having studied at City University the MSc IST course has proven to be a strong shield against the insecurity and uncertainty that we are all facing during these difficult times. The course enhanced in a professional manner my prior computing academic background. This course is of added value to computing professionals looking to improve their work skills and their knowledge base in various computer-oriented areas. Professionals from other disciplines will also benefit by getting either spherical or in-depth knowledge, essentially being able to customize their course by having a wide choice of modules. The course has a sound and clarified structure with dedicated staff whose sincere help was always present upon any student's request. Personally speaking, my career aspirations have been successfully materialized up to now, being an IT analyst-consultant in the 3rd largest bank of France with global presence in more than 85 countries. The worldwide reputation of City University along with the skills gained from the specific course have constructed a solid basis for my professional development as a competent member of the business world.

  • Taking this demanding course at City University allowed me to view the field of Information Technology in a closer, more analytical and business-oriented way. This course for me was selected not on the basis of career prospects but rather from a personal desire to deepen my knowledge of the field. The truth is that the course fulfilled this objective to the maximum, even though my career eventually led me to a different field.
